2. I have MP3s for 8 of the artists but none of those tracks that you listed.
That's funny eh? Half the artists there but not a single track?

3. Looks perfect from here. Nice mix!

I especially liked your inclusion of FGTH, even moreso b/c you didn't use "Relax."
That link for #13 is HQ, and the track holds up 26 years later.

I've never seen someone rickroll themselves, but hey, if that does it for you, cool.
It could have been replaced with:
THE CURE / Fascination Street http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_n2t7on6MR8
THOMAS DOLBY / Europa and the Pirate Twins http://youtu.be/VO2CUCeDdxc

6. I love "Fascination Street," but...
...it's not something I'd put on an 80s mix CD because it was released in April 1989, sort of outside of the realm of the mood on the rest of the CD.

I do have it on another mix CD, specifically the extended remix from teh CD single.

5. n the 80's I worked at a video bar
Crappy little dive with one bigass video screen. We played all the shiznit amazeballs stuff.

But the best part was when the veejays would do live video mixing. There were two Beta decks plus a reel-to-reel. One of the best mixes was when they would take the final shoot-out scene from Scarface and mix it while spinning Welcome to the Pleasuredome. They timed it so that Pacino's face would fall into the cocaine just as Holly Johnson would say "The world is my oyster...Muahahahahaha!" Then for the rest of the song, it was all bang! bang!, back it up, bang! bang! - raising the volume on the "Fuck you's!" - having Tony Montana, die, come back to life, shoot some more, die again...

God, it was sweet.

10. Well, I do have Power Station, so Duran Duran is "sort of" represented.

9. If you want to call that music
But where's Peter Gabriel?

Epic, massive fail of apocalyptic proportions. Thanks for playing.

11. Why would you diss someone else's picks?
Music is such a personal choice.
