Some acting tips for the dead Brando and James MASON in "Julius Caesar" |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-18-11 08:48 PM by UTUSN
Marlon got a nomination/Oscar, fine.
That was then. But really, it would have been GREAT if he had acted/ like he was doing the big speech in front of a JERRY SPRINGER AUDIENCE.
The Jerry audiences are like what it would be in the wild Roman forum spectacle audience thing.
Also, another gripe about Marlon's performance, especially in the big speech scene, he should have done it as a toss-off, swinging his arms more and pausing more.
But there was this scene, where Mr James MASON had this TOUCHING music as a backdrop and --- fuck it, I can't even -- it was VERKLEMPT
Mr James MASON is the max. Good night.
