I just want to say that I love this stuff


The Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce recipe has not changed since 1983. It is currently Huy Fong Foods' best-known and best-selling item, easily recognized by its bright red color and its packaging: a clear plastic bottle with a green cap, text in four languages (Vietnamese, English, Chinese, Spanish) and the rooster logo.

1. Sriracha, as I understand, is a bastardization of Serrano
I love the stuff, but either my taste buds have been dying, or the recipe has become tamer over the years...

It's just not as hot as it used to be, much to my chagrin...

4. I know my tolerance for hot foods has increased over the years
I eat Thai food at herat levels that would have killed me twenty years ago.

2. Boy so do I! We eat it in half the Asian food we eat.
Hoisin Sauce, lime juice, basil and Sriracha makes for a fine pho.
