Applying for jobs - ettiquette ??
Supernova job hunter here again...

I have the chance to apply for multiple openings at a company here. That hasen't happened in I don't know how long, but I digress.

At the company website you can apply for multiple positions at the same time.

My question is how should I word this on my cover letter.

Hello, I'm aply for postions A, B, and C?

Or should I not go the multiple path and apply for them individually?

1. Apply individually, most definitely
You look like you're putting in an effort and someone will see your resume 3 times. Of course, if they are three radically different jobs, you may be shooting yourself in the foot by looking far too desperate.

4. Agree
I'd probably make the resumes the same except bold or highlight the points relevant to the different jobs.

2. I'd apply individually, if they are listed separately.
If so, there might be separate HR folks and/or departments involved. This way, each one gets a cover letter tailored to that job, and a fresh copy of your resume.

5. Thank you two
I'll apply individually.

And yes, they are all the same type of job, all tech writing. Two are writing jobs, one is an editor's slot.

3. You definitely need to apply for each
position individually, and each cover letter should be specifically tailored to the position for which you're applying. DO NOT apply for all three positions at the same time using the same letter!

6. I would apply individually

I'm sure that's what they're set up for.
