They evacuated the whole fucking 10-mile radius of course.
On Edit: MFM didn't realize that "strip mall" didn't mean you had to go in naked.

2. That's VERY funny to me... in the mid-70's, four of us medics streaked a party... |
|
. . . ... the monthly Regimental "Hail-and-Farewell Party" given for arriving and departing officers of the regiment. This particular one was for the departing Flight Surgeon for whom we had worked (he was NOT a fan of the military and we LOVED this guy). . . Held in the second floor of a restaurant in a small German village, in scouting the location we determined that we couldn't make it in and, more importantly, OUT with any reasonable guarantee of success. . . So, we sent word in to the party to be at the restaurant's windows EXACTLY at 10 PM. We doffed our clothing a block away in a small park (with concealing bushes) and walked down to the place -- clad in nothing but our unit's black berets, surgical masks, combat boots and, because it was a formal affair... black ties. . And, oh yeah... military raincoats. . When we got in front of the windows at 10 PM, we all threw off our raincoats and held up 4 signs that spelled out, FARE WELL DOC DEAL (his name). Nobody was at the windows. So we started jumping up and down (nekkid, mind you) and shouting to get their attention. . Found out later that the windows were reflective and there were SCORES of people at those windows -- HOWLING with laughter. . . . I like to think it was NOT because it was VERY cold and rainy that night. . . . It WAS!!!!! . . .

|
had digital & camera phones existed during MFM's more mischievous days.

5. How FUNNY! We DID bring along our own photographer... he's the one we sent inside with the message. |
|
. . . He was also SO drunk, he left the lens cap on through the whole event. . . . . . . Now, THERE was an interesting guy!!! Had an extra sole-and-a-half tacked on to the bottom of his combat boots for a Frankenstein/Gene Simmons look -- AND would walk around downtown wearing rose-colored multi-lensed "bug's-eye" glasses... 100 tiny little images of ALL that he saw and he could FUNCTION!!! Fitz. One of the weirdest, coolest guys I've ever known in my life. . . .
