Politically, many of us can make a strong case for "most stupid State". I'm thinking of local, community news items. You know, the stupid neighbors we're embarrassed to admit we live next to.

5. Yep. Arizona is as bad or worse than my state. |
|
I live in South Carolina. It's scary to think there are people out there who are even nuttier than the ones here.

6. Best part of that article |
|
is the last sentence. "On the plus side for Democrats, if Arpaio actually gets in the race and ends up becoming the GOP’s nominee, it will probably go a long way to cementing Latino voters as a permanent part of the Democratic base."
Good luck out there!

16. Our immigration idiocies pretty much take care of that anyways. |
|
. . . Trouble is, though Tucson and Southern Arizona is a VERY Blue part of the state (very GLBT-, artist- and bicycle-friendly, etc.), the majority of the population lives in Northern Arizona (think Phoenix) and that's a very Red part of the state (hence Kyl and McCain). . . . . .

I grew up in Altoona, so it doesn't surprise me this happened....sad, but not surprising.

22. We're in the rural area near |
|
State College & Lewistown. Heve to say, as much as the attitudes of Pennsyltucky folk drive me crazy sometimes, the countryside here is beautiful and I would miss it if I ever had to leave. Altoona to Texas? Wow, that's the frying pan into the fire:)

11. As bad as those all are, I'm pretty sure GA should win on the Troy Davis debacle alone. |
|
In GA tomorrow, they're knowingly going to execute a man who is as-likely-as-not not-guilty. I think that takes the cake.

a barbaric and backward state. Even though I moved here from Florida, It was not as bad as Georgia as far as dumbness goes.

I was afraid a Texan might respond. And, with no offense intended for the many extremely cool Texans fighting the good fight, PA concedes.
