All My Children predictions
Edited on Wed Sep-21-11 12:56 PM by no_hypocrisy
The very last analog episode of "All My Children" will be broadcast in two days, Friday.

I predict:

A) Mike Martin comes down from the attic after going up nearly 40 years ago to sharpen his skates or to get his skis and never came down. No further mention of his character thereafter.

B) Tara Martin and Phil Brent drop in on the Family Reunion.

C) Both.

As for the two missing people who were on David's Miracle Slab, I just hope one of them wasn't Billy Clyde Tuggle.

Update: It was Stuart, Adam Chandler's twin brother.

1. They all fly to Mars?
I used to watch it, like 30-40 years ago, and not much has changed!

2. I am taking the cancellation much harder than I expected.
I have been in tears at the end of each episode this week. I don't know how I'm going to make it through Friday's show.

5. This was a bummer.
Watching Tad give a toast. I felt like he was really saying goodbye. These people really like each other, at the very least. They had a lot of fun. It was a good show. Too bad they're replacing something well written with something stupid.

6.  they ended the show on a cliffhanger, i'm not sure i like this
i know the show is supposed to go to the internet next year. but it seems kind of unfair for some, especially the older viewers who may not use the internet.

the show was really good though and this is how AMC use to always be until they hired shit writers to destroy the show so they can cancel it.

9. I don't think people will watch as much on the internet
and if there is a 3 month gap then it will be even harder. Plus it seems like they didn't have some of the actors signed yet so maybe they don't know where the story will go. Cameron Mathison has signed but Rebecca Buddig has not.

10. ryan and greenlee are horrible anyways and part of the reason the show lost ratings
it was brian frons who pushed that pairing.

the problem i have is that with rebecca budig unlikely to continue why couldn't they just have her leave on a happy note with leo. i think that was the intended finale but they changed it once the online talk started.

can't stand the ryan lavery character and him with greenlee is even worse.

11. I went to school with Tricia Pursley (Devon Shephard McFaddon)
... and after that, stopped watching AMC.

Tricia was always nice... that's probably why she didn't go Hollywood on us...
