instead of looking for it, I'll just reply here.
If you are working in NYC 60 hours a week @ $42,000 I think they are playing you a bit. That's enough to survive in the city, but since you're at white collar (I remember this from another thread awhile ago) it seems a little low to me. I'm working white collar in NYC and the work week is 35 hours (plus five unpaid for lunch). Anything after that is overtime.
Temps make $20 an hour for word processing also, so given that, I think these people are playing you a bit.
I'd try to negotiate if you have the power.
Maybe it would relieve some stress.

You seem to spend an awful lot of time posting at DU. Perhaps you should examine if you are engaged in some type of avoidance behavior.

Instead of doing your work or tending to you daily tasks, you post on DU compulsively. Then, when you suddenly become accountable for all of the things you should have done, it CAN be a quite overwhelming.

Have you considered the possibility you actually are creating your own crisis and manufacturing the drama in your life. The question would be WHY?

It's not that you post here too much or too little when you have the time. You're an appreciated voice like many others here, but it's not a matter of time spent online.

Perhaps (If I understand correctly), the previous poster may be pointing out that some of your energies might better used by addressing your issues in real life, as opposed to hashing it out here.

Don't get me wrong; the DU community is a great place to seek advice, if you're so inclined. There is a wealth of knowledge and compassion here. There is, however, a big difference between:

"How can I get (whomever) to help understand (whatever)?" This is a type of specific question that many of us are willing to add our input to and try to assist, based on our experience.

and.....

"I'm so pissed I want to eat dirt!" (posted with no explaination of what specific issue/issues make you want to eat dirt) That sort of post is seen by many as attention-seeking and unproductive, as it applies to your situation.

Hope that makes sense. I could be reading it incorrectly, though.
