5. There's a plain ol' one-story house in a neighborhood not far from here

that's painted bright orange with purple trim! I look for it every time I drive down that road (Stella Link) and applaud their courage! Oh, and the house directly behind them is painted mint-green with darker-green trim :D

It looks like it's made from something large in the petro-chem industry, but a commenter sez it's from an old ocean buoy. I'd love to see some of the welders in the area make a steel mushroom house, if any were so inclined ;)
