Poll question: Who *was* that AP Reporter Talking To?
Edited on Mon Apr-05-04 06:58 PM by Plaid Adder
You can see the discussions abotu this over in GD: during a press conference, the AP reporter addressed Bush as "Sir," and Bush got all snotty and snapped, "Who are you talking to?" The reporter then said, "Uh, Mr. President..."

Well, I'm sure we can think of a better comeback than THAT. Vote for your favorite:

1. I liked my own response on an earlier thread
Bush: Who's that AP reporter?

AP reporter: Here...

Bush (with a sneer): ...then ask your question.

AP: Sir, what...

Bush (another sneer): Who are you talking to?

AP: I'm talking to you, fuckface! Jesus Christ...didn't you take your fucking Ritalin this morning?

2. Nah, I'd have said something to humiliate him-
like

"Well I thought I was addressing the highest ranking Officer in the United States Military. My mistake."

Or

"This thoroughly embarrassing monkey-like creature who has inhabited my White House for the past few years....oh, you said WHO, not What..."

Something like that.

5. Wow, that's a good one!
I especially like "cretinous." Although I think if you include "cretinous" you should also put in "git."

C ya,

7. Who can argue with the wisdom of Helen Thomas?
she's known so many of the former presidents, she's perfectly credible in judging his fraudulency.
