1. Maybe a Smart car with the optional Towing Package
I've used a sunroof as a way to haul pipes. It works, but what a pain.

:hi:

2. I'm more concerned over what looks like a mattress held down with a single strand of clothesline.
I've seen a few mattress wings in their brief dramatic flights over the highway.

3. That's the kind of thing I hate the most about anyone hauling something:
Unsecured Load!

You'd think that most cities would cite more people for that. Houston could make up for the millions "lost" when they turned off the red-light cameras recently. I guess avoiding running over someone's lost furniture isn't a priority for road-safety enforcement...

4. I always get around those do-it-yourself movers as quickly as possible.
And don't even get me started about the home-made rinky-dink trailers. How they allow those things are legal on the street to be hauled down the freeway at 60+ is a mystery to me.

6. The best place to get free furniture is about 1km down from Ikea along the roadside

5. Yeah, any car too small to carry a donut spare is too small for me. We looked at Smarts last year
while car shopping, but I would not be comfortable driving around in a car that only had (literally) a fix-a-flat kit. We ended up with an Insight...which I used earlier this year to haul about as much wood as pictured above back to the hardware store.

7. Yikes...I do not want to be following that car.
However, I am reminded of my VW New Beetle I had in college. When you put the rear seats down flat, it actually had a lot of cargo space, thanks to its shape.

11. my prius is almost as big as a camry and has better mileage
than the smart car. Yes the smart car is much cheaper. But well you know.
