1. The onliest food I've EVER liked with beer (aside from salty things like pretzels, peanuts, etc.)...
.
.
.
... is pizza.
.
.
.
Sometimes I like wine with food, but never beer.
.
.
.
And I LOVES me some beer.
.
.
.
Long ago, my roommate's girlfriend, all of 18 years old, decided to cook dinner for us.
.
She cooked the only thing she knew -- spaghetti and meatballs.
.
The recipe probably called for a can of beer or less, and we were betting later that she
must've added a whole 6-pack. It was HORRENDOUS -- like basil-flavored beer on pasta.
.
When she left the room, we started taunting each other... YOU eat it... no, YOU eat it...
back-and-forth until an inevitable food fight broke out.
.
When she came back into the kitchen, the place was a culinary battlefield -- meatballs
EVERYWHERE and she burst into tears.
.
.
You wanna talk about two shamed, GUILTY young men doing their best to convince
her that it wasn't her spaghetti... but the fact that we were worthless pigs who
couldn't be trusted in public that caused us to lose control like that.
.
.
And it was.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Kinda.
.
.
.

4. No. And no damn peanut butter in it either.
Ex used to plop peanut butter in my chili. yuck

And no that's not the specifiic reason he's my ex.

But it didn't help.

I like to make my chili...shall we say? With some kick and edge. Both the beer and the peanut butter...YUCK patouey! Go a long way to killing that edge.
