Can you imagine spending four years in a prison where nobody speaks English?

6. My grandfather was a POW in Italy in WW II.

To the day he died, he'd not eat spaghetti or rice afterwards...no explanation. He'd eat any other pasta you wanted to serve: no spaghetti, linguine, fettuccine, capellini, vermicelli or anything else long and "worm-shaped". To that end, I never saw him eat pizza either. I never saw him do much except watch wrestling and sleep.
