Clinton is the best (and smartest) politician in my lifetime, with the possible exception of FDR. That takes in a LOT of politicians!

Actually I remember Truman .I was to young to have have much memory of FDR. My dad was a Republican and I remember chanting "Vote for Dewey , He's our man! Throw old Truman in the garbage can" on the way to school, which incidentally was three miles away and the snow was six feet deep.

I do remember seeing Eleanor Roosevelt on black and white TV.

#1 - from "Primary Colors" don't break our hearts. And he did.

#2 - Dave told him he looked great. He looked FRAIL and nearly moribund.

#3 - His dissertive rambling: Dave said "I don't know what you just said." TRUE.
