Poll question: Flame bait poll. Go ahead, fight it out.
If you absolutely had to make a decision, what kind of cookie would you ban from the world?

However a plate of the other choices will be needed for research.

8. Her brother invented gravity
Before gravity, building the pyramids and climbing Mt Everest were no sweat at all.

3. Other: All grocery store bakery cookies and "break and bakes"
At least those from my local grocery stores. They're faux "homemade" cookies, but you can taste all the preservatives, greasy shortening, and artificial flavorings in them. Yuk. Definitely not worth the calories they contain.

As for the "break and bakes", it's not that difficult to make cookies from scratch. I make a double batch, roll half of it up into logs, wrap them in plastic, and freeze them. Later, when I have a taste for cookies, it's "thaw, slice, bake." You can even freeze them as balls, if you just want a couple cookies at a time.

5. Well, we can't get rid of chocolate chip... that's just un-patriotic
Ditto Oreos.

Oatmeal and oatmeal raisin are delicious.

Ginger snaps are a critical component of a delicious baked ham, so those stay.

Peanut butter... well, the kid likes them.

Lemon... meh. I have no beef with them.

Macaroons... I'm not sure what they are.

That leave the coconut one. I'm not a fan of coconut, particularly, so OFF WITH IT'S HEAD!!!

11. Why would you want to ban cookies?
I guess, if I had to, it would be any shortbread cookie that does not contain butter. They're just too disappointing: you're all ready for that delicious buttery taste, and then you bite into something that tastes like partially hydrogenated soybean oil. Yuk.

19. Oreos.
Horrible. There's no taste of chocolate in the crushed-cardboard biscuits and the "creme filling" engineered in Dr. Frankenstein's lab, free of any natural ingredient, is ghastly beyond belief. :puke:
