3. My wife, in our family tradition of extending our birthdays long past the date,
(hers was last week) is going out with her friends tonight so my daughter and I are on our own. I will probably have corn dogs.

I can promise there will be no gotcha journalists around to take awkwardly positioned photos of the corn dog entering my mouth.

lol, I'm still at work and she has already texted me a pic of the giant pitcher of margaritas her friends started her out with...hey, maybe I'll get a present later too...

15. We ended up getting Chinese take out
shredded beef in garlic sauce (spicy!)
General Tso chicken (less spicy)
egg rolls and crab rangoon

Chinese people would probably laugh at it but it was yummy.

And this Magic Hat #9 is delicious too.

6. Pork skin coated chicken thighs.
Miz t. is now on a low carb kick.
She marinated some chicken thighs in something-or-other.
???
Put some pork skins in the food processor and reduced them to 'meal'(?)
Dredged them in the skin meal and baked in the oven.
We'll see.

16. It is Indian bread. It looks like really thick pita bread. You brush it with butter.

9. Hubby was supposed to bring home dinner for tonight

Rotisserie chicken and sides. But he forgot. So instead I took the other stuff he DID buy off the shopping list - asparagus, mushrooms, carrots, and fake crabmeat - added stuff out of the fridge and freezer - bell pepper, onion, garlic, and milk - and sauteed a "seafood" medley which I served on top of brown rice. Healthier and cheaper than the rotisserie chicken would have been and cheaper besides.

Tomorrow I think I will add cheese on top of the leftovers.
