1. Poor Aristus!
Maybe I should warn him that you're gunning for him, big time!:scared:

How are you, my dear crim son? :hi:

7. Hey, any day where I make the bed is a good one, lol!
I wrote a new poem, and I even like it...

And I edited some others...

Stayed ahead of the "usual clutter" which is remarkable!

9. You don't have to tell me.
I may save the world, but all the beds in my house would yet remain unmade.

Glad you continue to write poetry. My sister, who fancies herself a mystic, has instructed me to write something - she says, "an article," and that this action will get my life on track. I think that writing has been a great boon for you, but I am not you. Where do you find the motivation?

11. My motivation?
The words just show up and if I don't let them out, there's trouble!

I see beauty and conflict, the natural world and all sorts of things...

I never know what will trigger me...

But when it does? If I'm smart, I write a phrase down, and then go at it when I'm at my computer...

It has really been a great outlet!

4. Hah!
I expect promptitude, or something like it! I'm doing well, been sewing my Halloween costume and am now almost finished my wine. How was your evening, Dear Aristus?

8. Food: good; lecture: boring & delivered by a corporate shill.
Time: spent checking my watch and wondering if you had given up on me...

How are you ?

10. I'm laughing at the notion that you checked your watch and wondered
if I'd given up on you; however I shall savor the concept.

Everything is the same here. You could say I'm having revolutionary thoughts but they haven't led to any great sense of motivation so they count for little. What's happening with you? Really. Are you doing anything for Halloween (my favorite holiday)? Do you know where I can find a cheap mannequin?

12. Well, I do know that if you saved the world not to expect clean sheets on the beds...
:P

No plans for Halloween other than having the grandkids over to show off their costumes.

Cheap mannequin: try a thrift store.

13. Ah, grandkids. I have a couple of years yet.
You'd be surprised at the mannequin situation: they are suddenly considered valuable antiques and can't be found anywhere!

15. All my kids are physically beautiful and have personalities to match.
I bet you're right. :)

16. If they pass along those personalities to their kids, they'll definitely be all right.
Four of my eight grandkids are absolute rotters; snivelling little shits I don't like very much. Their mother, my step-daughter, no charm-queen herself, has spoiled and indulged them rotten...
