while lying in the ER with 103+ fever...
funny,
I never once thought about my underwear.

and upon being moved to my own room, I had to go to the bathroom.
right in front of 3 people I never met before, my husband, and the room door wide open.
I didn't give a rats ass and they told me to take them off and just leave my gown on.

so that saying is not true.

somehow worried that I, you know, might die,
was kinda more on my mind.

1. Yawp. Your perspective can change a lot in those circumstances
I've spent quite a lot of time in hospitals over the last 10 years. I don't embarrass much anymore. :hi:
Hope you are feeling better now!

3. two months ago
I was in the er...
turned out to be a nasty kidney infection...came on suddenly, no warning.

I'm almost better, just taking a while longer than I want it to.

7. And with all that going on you still have a sense of humor?

You are precious.

What's up? Get better, sweetie!

8. well,
Edited on Sat Oct-15-11 01:33 AM by MrsBrady
things could be worse.
These days, some people really do have it bad, I hate to complain, sometimes.

But I'd be lying if I said things had been easy for us lately.
Things always work out somehow...even though I don't see how right now.
Lots going on.

I didn't make myself sick, of course, but I was so stressed out
from worry that I'm sure it didn't help.

You're sweet. Thanks. :hi:

I wish I could remember who/where that I saw this on a post in DU, but
she said NOTHING ever bothered her.
Her rules were something like this.
Is the house on fire? No, so no need to panic.
Is the house on fire? Yes, so no need to panic.

I've been trying to remember that.
Cuz as the saying goes...every day above ground is a good day.
