I had a "NEVER question Bruce Dickinson" moment this morning...
...I was at BevMo and was speaking with a friend who works there.

As some of you may know, I have been renting a room from an acquaintance...NOT a "friend," even though we do have mutual FRIENDS...for the last year.

TEH CRAZY has been ever-present throughout this year. The guy is an alcoholic who claims 17 years of sobriety but he is a "dry drunk"...mood swings, rage, anger management issues, anal retentive (things must be done one way and one way only), calls himself a Christian while calling his estranged wife (who doesn't live here) a "c**t"...and that only scratches the surface.

The only thing missing from THIS guys alcoholism is the actual alcohol. All of the underlying issues that caused it are still alive and well. He also did a lot of drugs back in the day...I've never wanted to know which ones and have never asked.

So my reluctance to "bond" with him...

:scared:

...resulted in his decision, which played out over a few months, to throw me out.

I'm going to be staying with friends up until January 1st while I look for a new place, and will be moving out of here before the end of the month (still working out the actual date, but I'm looking at A.S.A. fuckin' P.

So anyway, my friend said "Sounds like God stepped in."

I said "Yeah," and pulled out my cell phone, and read her a bit of the "I want you out of here" email:

"The time has come. It has been said that Jesus is the light of the world. This light has been shown on your darkness, and you have chosen to remain in that darkness, but really it is just time for you to leave. This relationship has become like a bad marriage - it is simply OVER, and it is time for you to seek your salvation elsewhere."

So she got a look on her face like she wanted to vomit and said "what does that even MEAN?"

I said "It means this guy is crazy, and God stepped in."

NEVER question Bruce Dickinson...or God.

:-)
