is one of my favorite shows. Some of the episodes are kind of out there, but I enjoy them. Anyone can watch all episodes free online: http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/through-the-wormhole/TV shows I like most are about astronomy. I also like history documentaries.

I know, it's basically a soap. But the medical stuff is interesting, and House's character is interesting.
On one episode, House pretended to be a Brit. I was impressed by his imitation of a British accent.
(I should have been impressed, instead, by Hugh Laurie's imitation of an American accent.)

She's retired now. She won't watch House. The implausible stuff drives her crazy.
In one episode, House and Cuddy sabotaged each other's medications. I don't think real doctors would do that.
House frequently questions other doctors' competence in front of patients. That also strikes me as implausible.
I have never heard a doc bad mouth another doc. The closest they come in my experience is a stony silence.

22. Countdown with Keith Olbermann... |
|
Antiques Road Show, Big Bang Theory, Harry's Law, CSI/CSI Miami. I am an unapologetic fan of Horatio Cain.
I love Thom's radio show. He is the smartest, most informed guy out there. I also love him because he is reasonable, and not knee-jerk. I like him for the same reason I like Keith. They treat their audience like they're educated and have brains. They don't dumb things down. They provide facts, details and history. Compare them to the likes of Limbaugh and Beck. They treat their audiences like a bunch of brain-dead sheep, who they feed with nothing but talking points. I guess it's because their audiences are brain-dead sheep, but still...

But it's a three way toss up between BN, Breaking Bad and Mad Men. It's been a long time (ten years) since I had three shows I routinely watched with glee. (Back in '01, it was 24, The West Wing and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

35. Wow, this thread has made me realize there's NOTHNG worth watching. |
|
Not to speak of on broadcast tv anymore.
Modern Family is probably the best show on, smart, funny, well-written. Unfortunately, it's lonely at the top, because there isn't much else worth watching anymore.
No wonder I spend most of my tv time watching either news programs (such as those are these days) or cooking/home improvement shows.

well that and Breaking Bad but that's done til next year. Person of Interest and Fringe are good too - but Young Justice is very overlooked - like a younger justice league/teen titans - very well written. Claus Theo Gärtner is getting old, but he's still Matula. But when Jan-Josef Liefers and Axel Prahl team up, they're the best Tatort team there ever was, including Schimanski (Götz George) and Thanner (Eberhard Feik) in Duisburg and Stöver (Manfred Krug) and Brockmüller (Charles Brauer).
Ever since Liebling Kreuzberg ended............
