I just can't handle walking Walking Dead. Little spoiler

I have an unnatural fear of zombies, even though I know that they are not real. I'm at the part of the new season where everyone is hiding under the vehicles and I had to pause the recording. How do I get over this fear?

3. me, too. I saw "Mausoleum" when I was a kid and have never, ever

gotten over my horror about the living dead.

It sucks, because I think the story is very compellingly told - but I cannot handle the imagery. Makes me afraid to go outside at night, into the basement, whatever.

So - last night I sort of watched out of the corner of my eye - any time it seemed like there were going to be zombies, I changed the channel. :) And when I changed back, I just hoped there were no hideous images on the screen.

I had a really pissed of cow chase me on the farm, these cows had big ass horns.

I don't even remember running across the field and jumping the fence.

A cousin of mine who saw it happen told me I really did jump the fence.

After that I would never be afraid of a mere zombie.

The cow just had a calf, I didn't go near the calf.

Moma cow was just crazy.

15. except now they have fast zombies.

2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead was *terrifying* with the fast zombies. Both 28 Days and 28 Weeks later had fast "zombies" too. Much better than the slow ones. Seems like Walking Dead has both, depending on just how mangled the walker is.

But your original point is the main reason I was never able to find the mummy frightening. I could get in a night's sleep between the time mummy appeared at my bedroom door and then at my bedside.

14. Zombies, as portrayed on the show, aren't real.

One could argue that the zombies in the show could symbolize consumerism in that when people go into a store, they're mindless idiots, just like zombies. They wander around, not knowing what they want, with no care in the world and no idea what or where anything is.

I guess I could be afraid of them too.

a swift walk will outpace zombies. However, it seems like the TV shows has them able to move a bit faster than that.

13. In the color version of the movie Night of the Living Dead that is what the woman did to escape.

She walked faster then the zombies, the other people died.
