The view of New Zealand from our home in Milwaukee, WI
We got a new treadmill (NordicTrack C1500) that connects to GoogleMaps. It allows for us to map a route and then look at it street view while we're walking. These are 2 of the pictures we took this morning while taking a walk through New Zealand (thanks to an invite from a SparkPeople friend, Phraser).





While I'm aware it's not a perfect view it's pretty darn good and it allows us to walk through cities I don't think we'd ever be able to afford to visit in person. (And New Zealand was too pretty to pass up.)

3. Love this idea!
This is very clever, and walking in a different city would keep you on your treadmill longer, I think. You are walking in the street with traffic, but that might just add to the fun. :shrug:

Can't do that with my set up. I have a small tv to watch or I can use my ipod. Oh well.
