My wife can't see that kind of stuff either.
Her eyes are (very slightly) mis-aligned so the two fields of vision arent't entirely parallel and produce a distorted picture. No problem whatsoever in daily life as the brain simply corrects for it automatically without ever noticing it (except when really, really drunk), but this auto-correction kills the 3D effect of pictures like this.
You might try when completely hammered. But no guarantee ;)
