It's how I express myself (a VERY minor little "freedom of expression" issue). It has alway amazed
me, but you wouldn't BELIEVE the number of people -- on THIS site, of all places -- who've tried
to restrict... restrict that freedom of expression. It always makes me double-check to mske sure
that I've logged in to the Democratic Underground.

questioning whether I was on DU or not as that sort of behavior is
not consistent with the actions of what I feel are the vast majority
of its participants.

On the contrary, DU seems to have consistently stood behind freedom
of expression... rejecting what I can only imagine (from the "anti-dot"
folks' public comments) were probably fairly numerous alerts about
what they mistakenly were sometimes referring to as "spamming".
