there's some weather coming

it's been drizzling for a couple hours now and we could get six to ten inches of snow here in my part of colorado.

i've got some chili going and plenty of beer in the fridge. too bad i have to work tomorrow.

all told, we got an inch of rain and 9-10 inches of heavy, wet snow, but everything was open today. i'm sure the side streets were a mess this morning, but i expect the roads to be miserable tonight and tomorrow. skies are clear and it's going to get cold tonight, so lots of ice.

worst damage is to the trees. most of them still have most their green leaves, so the branches just got weighted down and broke. a lot of broken branches on my walk to work this afternoon.

i think we're supposed to be back to the 60s by the weekend. i love living here.
