HELP! I think I'm an email hoarder. |
|
I just spent an hour deleting emails and I still have a few thousand to deal with.
How did this happen?

Luckily that's just a junk account so I doubt there is much in there I need.

2. I file all of my emails (well most of them) in various folders... |
|
Personal, family, work, project, etc.
I have emails going back nearly eight years!

About half are in folders - those should be easier to deal with. Its the rest of the miscellaneous stuff that is a pain to sort through.

dating back to 2007. I don't plan on deleting them either, not unless I run out of space. They serve as a sort of diary and I can search for keywords.

I have no idea how this happened, and I really do try to deal with it, but it just keeps getting worse.

They can find any email ever written by anybody. Even the deleted ones. Which will lead them to the murderer...and his lover.

11. I am (was) really bad too. |
|
but I lost them ALL a couple months ago when I wiped my computer trying to figure out why I lost my internet connection. I was using outlook express and was in a hurry so didn't save anything other than a few I had filed for various reasons as actual documents. So far it hasn't been to traumatic not having access but I lost a few addresses I would like to have again.
Now I'm using my server's web version but I hate it and it doesn't have much storage so I am procrastinating on what to do next - outlook again or something else? I never really had any problems with it although there was a period where it would send out double mails - 2 versions of whatever I sent but it seemed to go away by itself.
