Supervisor Cat Is Watching You
I love the look on the cat in this picture. I get it all the time from my cats - one of detached curiosity, not saying much, but ready to intervene in case I screw up. I call it feline supervision.

Any departure from ordinary routine brings out this response - late night cooking, gathering up the laundry . . . sometimes even in the bathroom. The cats were intensely curious when I recently rearranged the furniture. It's not an unfriendly look, just a cautious one . . . checking things out, making sure everything's OK.

1. Pretty cat!
I do sewing and am often supervised. Sometimes it looks like she will actually pitch in and help - but noooooo.
Its amazing your kitty doesn't have black paws.

4. Does your cat try to "capture" the needle as it comes up under the fabric?
Mine also tries to capture the thread as it's going back through the fabric as well.

I know she's gotten her paw pads stabbed a couple of times, but she still is interested in what I'm doing.

7. Wow - not yet
She just watches intently.
My old cat used to pick the pins out of the container with her mouth and put them on the table. :hi:

2. My cats look like that when I fly a toy helicopter
They just sit and stare at the helicopter while the dog barks at it like it's a threat to our very existence.

3. I have three Supervisor Cats; I know that look.
It's when they become Helper Cats that things get really interesting.
