my husband took a job out of town last year
Edited on Tue Nov-01-11 07:30 AM by MrsBrady
and now he's been there a year and a half.
He even got a second job there, poor baby.

He got me a job here where I still am, in the big city, with a hook up, but then something changed internally there --
and it didn't go full time for me like it was supposed to.

so now, after waiting long enough to "see what happens" I'm looking for a full time job again.
And at this point, I don't care if I get the job in the middle of nowhere, TX, where he is, or here in town where I am.
Like a lot of others -- just want/need one.

The irony is that since my job is part time, luckily they have been understanding while I recovered from that nasty kidney infection --
which is now gone, thank goodness...
but I'm dealing now with residual sacroiliitis which can develop, in some cases, although not common, with the uber nasty stuff that I had.
Doc says that even though the CT scan I had in the hospital didn't show infection there, doesn't mean there wasn't one there -- even though there isn't infection there now. I had it all along, we just didn't know it while I was having kidney pain too, as the pain can be similar.

Doc is a DO and does a bunch of manipulation stuff along with now my ---ugh--- second round of spinal steroid shots. (not fun)

so -- looking for work, drinking my morning coffee. and hoping now that I will get better soon.
Oh and looking for private insurance too until 2014 or I get a job with bennies.
For all that we've been through, I still feel grateful.
We didn't come out unscathed, but it could have been much much much worse.

Good morning, peeps. :hi:

on edit: better get up and go feed the cats and empty the cat boxes before there is a feline OWS in the kitchen.
