1. The DU copyright policy system was involved there, I think

3. The mods gave the op the option to edit the post or delete it
Just happened to be a member with fewer posts

5. Look at how many posts I've got
and I still don't get how that worked exactly. No matter how many may be able to figure stuff like this out, we're not all privy to (or skilled at) the ins and outs of all the little tricks to the board here ;)

6. i am lmao cause really, i am computer dummy all the way
Edited on Tue Nov-01-11 12:17 PM by seabeyond
when mods lock a thread providing the op'er an opportunity to edit because they didnt comply with copy right rule, the op'er merely changed subject to self deleted cause he didnt want to bother with the thread any more. it is no different than how we all can edit our posts.

see how computer stupid i am. i probably explained it horribly.

7. No, you explained it fine.
Now it makes sense :)

And you'd hate what I'm currently searching around the 'net for at the moment: AutoCAD Toolbar and Button customization techniques (it involves their brand of code, "AutoLISP".) I'm trying to combine a couple of commands I use quite often that could save me some copying and pasting into another program just to do acreage calculations ;)

9. I would not even attempt to do any explaining.
Only other AutoCAD (computer-aided-drafting) users would even begin to understand :P

11. But how did that thread get locked?
Isn't the last post in a locked thread usually from a mod posting something like "Locking due to (fill in the DU rule here)."
