Last night was my lucky night
My car was totaled by one of those double trucks that Washington state has so many of. The front end is buckled and the trunk is also buckled. Why do I consider myself so lucky? My partner was driving and walked away with a very minor injury from the airbag deploying and my son, who always sits in the passenger rear seat was also spared, without a mark.

I am blessed.

2. My partner just got up
I asked him how he feels. He said he feels like he was hit by a truck. Humor center clearly unimpaired.

6. Glad he's ok.
Sounds like he will be sore if he feels it today. Stuff like that usually hurts more the day after the day after in my experience.

Lots o advil!

4. I got rear ended at a stop sign about a year back.
It was a county highway with a 45 MPH speed limit and I was approaching a stop sign. I had slowed down to about 30 MPH when the person behind me rear ended me. We were both able to pull our cars off to the side and walked away without injury. The only repercussion was being real sore after waking up the next morning. It is the same feeling as if you had done a bunch of physical labor the day before.

Anyways, I'm glad you are okay. :)
