Name a really stupid TV show. Write a blurb that captures the essence of its stupidity.
Not that there aren't plenty of potential candidates, because it seems like most tv series produced these days are written by morons for morons. Intelligent writing that doesn't pander to potty humor or overt sexuality is hard to find.

One of many that I despised was an NBC crime drama called "Crossing Jordan", which aired from 2001-2007.

Here is how the IMDB describes it:

"A "sexy, brilliant" Boston medical examiner... Despite a checkered career, Dr. Jordan Cavannaugh goes above and beyond to solve cases."

Here is my version:

"Jill Hennesy plays Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh, the unorthodox medical examiner who won't follow the rules but always solves the crime. Oh, and, she's hot. She dresses like Brittany Spears. She frequently parades around the crime lab in her underwear. Did we forget to mention she's hot...?because she is..."

Because, you know, in the real world, don't all coroners dress like Brittany Spears (one would hope not, especially the men)while chasing down the bad guys (which they don't do, that's the job of the police)?

Alas, for every 'West Wing' out there, it seems that Hollywood puts out 50 equivalents of 'Crossing Jordan'.

1. I forget the name, but they made a HUGE deal about the pilot episode and failed tragically.
This was 1978 or so. I totally forget the name but it had exactly one joke. Somebody mentioned a sperm whale and the obligatory stupid-as-shit blonde responded, "Aren't those the ones with the long tails?"

Fail.

3. Charlie's Angel 2011
Yet another lame attempt to revive an old 70s show in hopes that people might watch it but it will fail miserably anyways.

5. Fuck that - Charlie's Angels in the 70's. Where the hell do you hide a gun in a bikini?
Don't answer that.

Pam Am: ABC's cross of a really hip TV show on another station (Mad Men) with a dying show soon to be retired on their station (Desparate Housewives) and oh, without the smoking.

6. Agree with both.
Also the high volume, squealing, just plain dumb teen shows pooped out by Disney.

Teen Mom too.

it's all CGI, but who cares?

I do wish they get on with showing something other than the 707

8. X-Files.
X-Files.

Our lead actors discover mysterious things happening that may or may not be tied into other mysterious things happening which are themselves the result of still other mysterious things. The melodramatic and self-serving over-use of noir lighting really helps the audience to get their trendy and trademarked cynicism on as our heroes discover real-world cover-ups including the Illuminati and the whereabouts of the Rothschilds, all the while being chased by archetypal yet unknown corporatists under the control of the Soviet Weather Machine and Lady Gaga.

13. Magnum, PI
Slightly chauvinistic private dick lands the luckiest job of anyone's lifetime. HAWAII! Bikinis and/or danger lie around every corner (and beach!). Hilarious, by the number situations, with at least one explosion, and 3 or 4 babes in bikinis, per 46 minutes. Come see what all of America is falling asleep too....

well-worn gags and that's the whole premise. Add an annoying theme song, and you've got a hit!

16. "The Middle"
A shameless rip-off of "Malcolm in the Middle" that nevertheless manages to lack any humor whatsoever.

Featuring the always annoying Patricia Heaton and some distressingly repugnant children.
