I think there should be more hype about the Alabama-LSU game.
There's not NEARLY enough coverage by TV, newspapers, and the internets.
:sarcasm:

OMG!-OMG!-OMG!-OMG!
If (insert name of team here) wins, life as we know it will END!

or

If (insert name of team here) wins, we'll see the Second Coming of Christ in the end zone at the end of the 4th quarter!

Or at least the Second Coming of Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant.
:eyes:

Oh what-the-hell, it's a lot of fun, I guess.
I'm an Alabama alum, so I'll be pulling for the Tide, natch.

Geaux Bama!
Roll Tide!
:-)

1. The ABC News site refers to them as
the...barely-tested Tigers and the...mostly-unchallenged Alabama!

I gotta go with the Tigers...my DIL went to school there!

Should be a good game, I think!

:hi:

2. This Cornhusker says ROLL TIDE.
Not a fan of the SEC, but I have always respected Alabama and will pick them over a LOT of other schools. Plus I hate LSU, going back to Sugar Bowls past.

3. To be fair, you live in the south.
Nobody out here gives two shits (except in the context of Brian Wilson tweeting about it,) but we get to hear what Andrew Luck ate for breakfast.

If you don't want to hear SEC football hyped to death, you need to pack up and move.

5. Hmm... I was just talking to my dad (in Michigan) today and he said
that if he heard one more word, televised or otherwise broadcast, about this game he was going to lose it. Perhaps it is just where you live, or what one watches.

4. Condoleezza Rice will be attending the game
That should generate some excitement, somehow, someway.

I'm reserving my enthusiasm for the Stanford - Oregon State game. This west coaster is selfish that way.
