Our dog Guinness raised our cat Mary Jane from a kitten. He used |
|
to carry her to his den (the stair landing) and lick her all over. They like to sleep next to each other, and she does the grooming now. Every morning it's lick, lick, lick, nip followed by a growl!
I went on a long trip, so the dogs being 2 year olds went to a kennel so someone would be watching them and the cats being teenagers stayed home and someone dropped by to feed them. I came home and the two cats were "Hi, how are you, open up a can of food why don't you" although they did snuggle up to me in bed. Mary Jane was upset because the dogs were still at the kennel because I got in late. She kept looking around for Guinness all evening.
At about 3AM, i heard her making a strange sound. She was doing her best to bark!

2. Hey Hedgehog next time leave your dogs with me |
|
I do in-home dog care. I take one or two dogs at a time. They live with me, my 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 husband right here on Sandy Pond. I am a professional trainer/kennel manager. PM me for more info.
Love your cat story. My cat Johnny Kelly tries to say his name if I repeat it to him several times. Yankeepants
