1. There are just two types of people... |
|
Those who have leaf blowers, and those who wish they had leaf blowers.

3. Fuck that noise. I just mow over them and let them fertilize the lawn. |

4. Doesn't work when you have lots of trees |
|
I shred them and turn them into compost.

2. I shit you not. Ten years ago, I worked in a small office in Reston (read on)... |
|
From the front, it looked like, well, almost townhouses. The back was a wooded area with a walking path and a creek. There were pileated woodpeckers, deer, fox, heron, beavers, and all kinds of wildlife behind the buildings. You would never guess from the front.
Now here's the fucked up part - they vacuumed the leaves behind the building. They didn't blow them, they used huge vacuums that people pushed around. WTF?

I use it for all kinds of things. To blow the loose straw out of the back of my SUV after a trip home from the feed store. To blow the sand out of onions and potatoes after I've harvested them. To blow out the spiderwebs and cobwebs that form out in the garage in the summertime. To blow off the greenhouse benches after spring planting is over. To blow away the sawdust after cutting wood.
In fact, about the only thing I never use it for is to blow leaves around. Its easier just to use a rake to move them from the corners to the open spaces where the mower can get them.
