My sweet dogs always know when I'm sick...
Edited on Mon Nov-07-11 05:16 PM by YellowRubberDuckie
When I stay home with a flare up, my dogs lay on me while I'm sleeping after the pain has subsided. They always know. And occasionally Poppin, my chihuahua, pops up and checks to make sure I'm OK, which consists of kisses and nuzzles. I am so lucky to have my kids.

This is them waiting on me to come join them on the sofa.
How are your kids? Haven't been in the lounge for a while. Thought I'd check.

1. How cute! Yes, mine pick up on a lot of things...
I went out of town last week and my mama's boy followed me everywhere as I was packing and doing laundry and such. He doesn't usually do that unless he thinks I'm going somewhere.

Gotta love dogs!

:hi:

3. Aw, warm little doggies helping mom feel better!
I had the flu a couple of weeks ago and Sally, our Border Collie/Heeler, spent almost two days on the bed near me while I slept a lot.
When I was a kid our standard poodle used to attend to the bedside of any member of the family who stayed in bed not feeling well. He would rest his chin on the bed and wait. My parents would call him Nurse Jane Fuzzy-Wuzzy, who I later discovered is a character in Uncle Wiggly books.
