Why are t.v. legal pundits always so shocked at verdicts and outcomes?!1
Like, right now on HLN their legal pundit is shocked that WackoJaco's doctor is spending a night in jail.

(I might as well hang up this thread right now for the Wacko reference.)




Just to attempt to salvage a thought here, back when, during the Shrub regime, when David SHUSTER was "reporting" nightly on Keith's show that KKKarl would be indicted by the grand jury in two weeks, and he knew this because of his sources who were (he said) very knowledgeable, then it didn't happen.

And then after it was over without any KKKarl indictment, he revealed his sources, who were all LAWYERS WHO HAD HAD CLIENTS IN FRONT OF GRAND JURIES (but not THIS grand jury), who had NO direct knowledge either of THIS grand jury's proceedings OR anything going on INSIDE the prosecuters' shop:

In other words, SHUSTER's "sources" were all PUNDITS talking out of their hats.
