Had the rabbit and the cat on the bed cuddling last night. |
|
The rabbit's just over 4 and the cat's about 14 and big and lazy. The cat gave him one SERIOUS bath and the rabbit just purred through it all. Then they both fell asleep under my arm, but their purring was on totally different frequencies. Rather weird, but soft.

I've got a bunny and three cats. I think my bun would love it if one of the felines would give him a bath, but they're not feelin' it.

14. They do purr, sort of, but not the way cats do. |
|
Rabbits "purr" by chattering their teeth.

13. I shared a yard with my neighbor, and she brought home a baby bunny. |
|
My cat sat in the window watching him, and she was in full hunt mode. I mean, a rodent, right? Food for Felines. However, the rabbit grew HUGE, way bigger than my cat, and they became fast friends. I loved having the bunny hop into my house looking for Kitty. As a vegetarian, I was able to feed him all my leftover salad, so he hung out with us a lot!
Who'd've thought that lapine and feline could be such good mates?

And, at 14, Kitty isn't lazy. He's just old.
