Whats for dinner tonight? |
|
I'm doing a simple tuna casserole. Peas, some broc and sliced carrots in egg noddles and cream of mushroom soup, bake it and add some bread crumbs on top and a little garlic bread on the side.

1. We had some kind of frozen chicken fettucini from a bag. |
|
It was actually pretty good. Busy evening; no time to cook a proper meal. Yours sounds good!

3. Some of those frozen meals aren't bad. |
|
And, you can doctor them up with extra veggies, herbs and spices, garlic, extra cheese...

The lazy-ass version: Dump a carton of chicken broth in a pot, throw in a 10 oz. box of frozen chopped spinach and a can of diced tomatoes. Heat it up with some seasonings. Add some chickpeas and some frozen tortellinis. When it is heated through, add some Parmesan cheese.

5. What are tortellinis? Are they like stuffed ravioli? I like the spinach idea. |

6. Kind of but they are little rings |
|
They come stuffed with different things, meat, cheese. Try the Buttoni (sp?) cold but not frozen ones, a bit more expensive but way worth it. Sometimes they are in produce, or by the cheese in supermarkets. Boil em until they float and serve with your favorite spaghetti sauce... Heaven :9

4. I had a pile of fresh spring greens and a half cup of shredded turkey and cranberry salad. |
|
No dressing except I guess mayo on the cranberry mix. From the local supermarket that specializes in natural and locally grown food.
I decided to treat myself today, it was very satisfying. BTW, I'm snagging your recipe!

Yum! And a very pretty young lady who is as tall as me celebrating her birthday. Never heard "Happy Birthday" sung in Indian before.
