One of my nursing home friends passed away today, she was Army nurse in WWII. |

She was one of the first women to land after D-Day.
She was Army nurse, saw her share of wounded men.
Her group of nurses followed the Army has it marched across Europe.
Another WWII vet gone, she had some stories to tell.
I went to visit her this afternoon, she past away just a few hours ago.
Her daughter called me.
My friend's name was Stacy Ellen.
I will miss you Stacy Ellen, from Army Vet to another.
Your generation of service women made it a little easier to for us.

She sounded like a neat woman. Wish I could have heard some of her stories.
