As I've intoned before, 'goodbye is a gift.' Can't get the next thing while focusing on the last one. Now if one wants to get their old ex back, well, that street runs both ways. Maybe they moved on, but if they haven't, well it just might work. I've known two couples who got together after years apart, even other marriages. They changed their priorities. Each 'breakup' in my life was caused by going different directions. You gotta do what you gotta do. I'm relieved to be out of this game at this point, wow, the energy.

i think there are times people may think grass is greener and then later say, well, not really. married him/her for a reason. so i can see that.
i wouldnt want to go thru it again either. not gonna rock my boat.

got along better after our divorce...we were friends. When he remarried I got to be pretty good friends with his new wife..she always introduced me as her ex wife. LOL

My ex and I were an absolute train wreck as a couple, but he's one of my best friends now. I even like his 2nd wife and affectionately call her my wife-in-law.

And I'm still fairly close with ALL of his kids. Can't just throw those relationship away. You can't divorce children.
