Yes, they are worth it

As good as Brian Wilson's version

It would be nice if they could integrate their versions

But that will never happen

This is worth it, if you ever wondered what could have followed 'Pet Sounds'

1. There was a really nice piece about this on NPR the other day.
Basically, they said Brian Wilson's problem was that his ideas for this one were 20 years early. He was really trying to do with cutting and splicing tape would have been much more readily achieved with modern digital editing equipment.

They also talked about the other issues (the project taking forever, disagreements between Wilson and Mike Love, etc. )
