Anyone know comedians from the 70s? |
|
There was a black comedian who had a schtick where if he was told something he thought was outrageous, he would respond with a very skeptical "riiiight."
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I've been thinking it was Nipsy Russell, but I'm not sure. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

3. Bill Cosby used the "riiiight" in his routine on God asking Noah to build an ark |
|
"Noah, this is God" "Riiiiight" "It's God, Noah" "Riiiiighht - who is it really"
he did that album early to mid 60s and it was a huge seller

4. I think it was in the album title, too. Something like "Bill Cosby is a Very Funny Fellow. Riiight." |
|
Honestly, I don't remember Nipsy Russell doing 'riiight' but really about all I knew him from was game shows where is main shtick was the poetry.
