Walking Dead - can I have a recap after the show?
I no longer have access to AMC; my analog is sloooowly going bye-bye and AMC disappeared earlier this week. I will switch over one of these days to digital, but in the meantime, anyone care to update me? I am really curious about Merle's reappearance in the trailers...

Thanks in advance! :hi:

9. Daryl did injure himself with a arrow falling down some water covered rocks.
I think he is going to find something.

That fall really looked painfull.

11. Ok (spoilers below)
Darryl injured himself and stumbled back
into camp. Andrea thought he was a
walker and shot him. That's what the reaction was for. But it turned out the bullet just grazed him.

Then Glenn found the barn full of zombies on his way for more nookie
with Maggie.

14. thanks for the recap, charlie and algernon... I appreciate it
So Merle was just a hallucination? And Darryl is OK, mostly?

I had a suspicion that the barn was full of zombies. Guess we'll find out why next week ... ?

And still no Sophia? Why are they dragging this storyline out?

17. The Sophia thing is dragging on for a reason I guess.
Merle had both hands.

I forgot about him.

12. Darrell was hallucinating
after his injury, he was delusional. His brother appeared to him and tried to turn him against the others. When he stumbled home, he was mistaken for a walker, and shot -- which will feed his paranoia, no doubt. He had been searching for Sophia, and found her doll.

At the end, we learned that the veterinarian had a secret stash of live zombies locked away. We'll learn why next week.

18. I bet they're family members.
Couldn't re-kill them, so they locked them up.

It's also possible they are corralling them so they can use them to power a generator or something.

21. I love the generator idea
That's brilliant.

Actually, I saw on another messageboard that in the original comic book series, these zombies actually are his family and friends and he's too soft hearted to shoot them. Don't know if it will be the same on the TV version.

23. It's not just that (spoiler alert)
swipe for spoilers:

It's not just that they're family, friends & neighbors in the comics. He also thinks it might be a test from God (hinted at on the TV show by Hershel already). Also, he is keeping them there just in case there is a cure coming soon as well. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if they find the cure soon and they had just killed off all the walkers in the barn.

15. Good show tonight
Daryl getting banged up, then hallucinating that he saw his brother Merle, then getting shot by Andrea.

They finally discovered Hershel's barn full o' zombies at the end of the episode.

20. It's a dumbass idea to make an ear necklace of zombie ears
Especially FRESH zombie ears, when you're covered with scratches from two bad falls, and have a major wound in your side!

I'm interested in the plot but had to stop watching - it gave me nightmares.

Went to bed with a good (nightmare-safe) library book.

26. AMC is free this month on my system.
I've managed to snag three episodes of this season so far. That and the Free first episode of the season on the AMC website leaves just one I'll have to pay for I think.

And it's only a $1.99 I think.
