Cats!
I finally caught my cat and my roommate's cat sitting next to each other last night and snapped a couple pics. Mine (Esther) is the big Calico. The Rommate's cat (Holly) is the small grey cat.

Is that human taking our picture? Yup, I believe he is. Geez, Can't we get any privacy around here?

Shhh! Try to ignore him and he might go away!

2. Quite a commanding presence on the sofa there by your feline overlords. Lovely home for all.

8. Yeah, cats have an extra dimensional quality to them. They're also solar collectors and heat sinks.
I just goes to show that we have a long way in our evolution if we have any hopes of catching up with our overlords. I believe the fur, too, allows them to gather in energies us relatively hairless beings are sorely lacking... Sigh...

5. haha, the sad part is that she's been on a diet since I've had her
She was 13 pounds already when I adopted her but she quickley got up to 16 and I've had her on a diet since and it's not working at all. Though she's not gaining any weight, she barely lost any and is still hovering around 16 pounds. Of course she looks a lot bigger sitting next to the petite grey cat.

9. She's merely storing energy against the coming famine during the zombie apocalypse.
Have you learned nothing, friend? Contact the mothership!

:woohoo:

11. well I can say that the fur really does make her face seem bigger
She's got REALLY poofy fur on her face, which makes it seem wider than it really is.

The rest of her... well... yeah, water weight and big boned works.

13. My teenager came up with a good diet for my 16 pound cat.
She put her food on a table and limited what she fed her. The kitty was 12 at the time, and just the action of leaping up to the food bowl seemed to make her only eat when she was actually hungry. She slimmed down surprisingly quickly and kept it off until her recent passing, at 18 years old.

12. those are beautiful cats!
Esther and Holly will follow each other around and I find them sleeping on my bed alot, but they're usually at opposite ends. And if you put one next to the other, they scatter. But lately Esther has started sitting on the couch more, which has been Holly's domain. This is that rare time that they've sat on the couch together, let alone actually touching, like they were last night.
