Marlboro still wants to send me free cigarettes |
|
Even though I asked several times to be off their mailing lists, around the time I quit smoking (that was 3 years ago)
They always responded with "No problem - we'll take you off this afternoon"
And the SPAM does go down - for about a week
Then, "Claim your FREE GIFT from Marlboro!!!"

and I still occasionally get one of those. I just ignore 'em...it's trickled down to a couple or a few a year now and gmail filters handle them pretty well.
Man if I had actually saved all the miles I could have, I'd be halfway back from Jupiter now...

2. The first hit is free.... |

Then you get addicted. I haven't smoked since 1981, when cigs were 70 cents a pack. Just last week I saw a sign in the gas station window advertising a carton of Marlboro for 59.00. Ouch! Reason enough to quit: can't imagine spending that much on something manufactured to kill me.

3. And if it is Nicotine you truly love, there are safer delivery methods... |
|
E-Cigs, Nic Gum, the patch...
I learned to love the safer delivery methods until my Blood Pressure went through the roof
Now I am nicotine free
And it SUCKS!
