Just meat, but I rub 'em with black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic... and THEN I splash
'em with a healthy dose of Worcestershire and hot sauce -- and liquid smoke if I'm indoors.

3. Correct. As recommended by James Beard, a hamburger is a little meatloaf on a bun.
And the difference is that the hamburger pan is easier to clean.

5. good 20% fat ground beef - handled as little as possible
that's it, preferable grilled over mesquite/catclaw but oven broiled or pan fried is fine too. Add salt when done.
