I'm about to kick my cats ASS!
Cider has developed the MOST annoying habit...

If I go to the bathroom and am standing at the toilet he grabs my sweats and tries to pull them down just far enough that he can jump inside of them and wiggle down my leg.

Yes, I know I could try to keep them out of the bathroom but with 4 cats running for the bathroom door before I'm even there it would be an exercise in futility.

He's gotten down so far in my pants leg that I've had to have Paul go in and get him for fear I'd hurt him trying to extricate him myself.

And yet...I love the little rat-bastard.

6. Oh? Do tell!
It'll make Cider seem so much less strange.

8. One of the funniest that Quinn does . . .
is wait outside the bathroom. Now I like soaking in a hot bath occasionally to relax muscles, etc. Quinn will wait outside the door and as soon as it opens charge through the door and jump into the bathtub. . . he never bothers to check if the water has drained completely yet, he just jumps. A couple of times he's noticed there was water in the tub and tried to grab the shower curtain on his way by, there's some good size holes in the curtain from him :)

2. My sister's cat does this
When she sits on the throne, the cat jumps into her pants. I don't know whey they do this. It's rather funny, isn't it?

4. But I'm STANDING!
He's pulling down my pants and jumping in.

I've gotten to the point where I have to literally hold the back of my pants to keep him out. And what makes it worse...Paul thinks it's too funny.

12. Well, since your drawers are down anyway
Why not sit, then you can better deal with him.

10. That is so familiar that it frightens me...
first off, that looks just like my Pooky. Is the cat in the picture a Korat? My Pookster does exactly the same thing, and then attacks the other cats that come into the bathroom from his vantage point. The resemblance in the cat and the behavior is amazing.

13. Korat? I have no idea :)
His mommy was part siamese that mated with a stray feral mutt cat that lived in a bayou outside Baton Rouge. Benny was a cool cat that I had for almost 18 years.

14. He looked very familiar...
I wouldn't have known anything about the Korat breed either, excpet that one of our neighbors suggested that I have the vet check him out. Korats are a Thai breed, and are supposed to bring good luck to their owners. The veet verified the breed. Funny though, he didn't have much good luck reserved for himself. He had been on the streets for probably most of his 2 year life when we adopted him. He is my kitten, even though he is now three years old. He curls up in my lap when I'm sitting here typing away. Puuuurrrrrrrr!

18. That Could Be Me
except I'm a chick and I don't have an all grey cat anymore.

I'm not allowed to be in bathroom doing anything alone, or so the cats say. A couple usually watch me take a shower, and have cats in the pants when I assume the position.

15. My kitten Puck does the same thing
as I'm dressing or undressing. If I'm putting on sweats, he makes it all the way through!

He also can jump from the floor to my shoulder in a single bound. He's only six months old now, but if he keeps this up, I might be in for a world of hurt!

My larger kitten Oberon tries to mate with my head if I'm in bed. It can be rather alarming...he's neutered and not even full grown, so what's the deal with that?

16. That's funny!
And I thought it was just annoying that my cat likes to come in the bathroom every time I go to the toilet so he can strop my legs, purr, and have a captive audience to pet him. I live in an old house, and the doors do *not* shut tightly, so everywhere is cat-accessible.

My cat has got long "vampire-fang" canine teeth that lap over his lower lip so they're visible all the time. One time when he was marking me with his cheek, he scraped his head so hard against my leg, he punctured my shin with his fang! Fortunately, I washed it right off and disinfected it, then put Polysporin and a band-aid on it, so it didn't get infected or even hurt that much.

17. we call them
pee-pee pals or bathroom buddies...

with a 5' x 6' bathroom that includes a sink, toilet, steam radiator, and tub/shower there's not that much room for manuvering

but somehow the 2 80lb dogs, and the 4 cats all manage to crowd themselves in the bathroom when one of us is in there... and yes they all want attention all at the same time
