Assembly of God - one never knows what's gonna happen at one of those churches. Mostly they're just fine, but some of 'em are waaaay over on the fringe.
What a bizarre thing to do in worship.
Whipping the Easter Bunny; a self-mutilating woman; a drunken man; breaking eggs.
Makes me wish I had seen it.

She had just been at a Sunday school program that overemphasized the suffering of Jesus (my sister is complaining to the minister about it-it's a UCC church, and my niece is only 4). The teacher was telling them about the soldiers poking Jesus with spears, and she connects soldiers with Bush.
