I'm thinking of getting a Papillon puppy

Are they good dogs? Do they bark a lot? My kids want a small dog that won't offend the cats. I don't want one that yaps all the time. They are over 1K in price here in Northern CA. So I don't want to make a mistake. Thanks

1. prepare to be amazed. they love to play. they are very small and

delicate. don't step on them. if you do, get to the vet.
they have twig legs as infants. lovely, lively, sweet dog.

3. My mom's boyfriend had a Pappillon...

..and she was the sweetest, best-behaved, most adorable pup ever. She barely ever barked and loved to eat lettuce....sadly, she had to be put to sleep a year ago :(
