I got my new digital camera.
Edited on Fri Apr-09-04 06:04 PM by alfredo
Remember I asked about what digital camera to buy. Well I studied and narrowed my list to the Nikon 5700, Canon G5 and the Canon S50. I went with the S50. here's why.

The Nikon was overly complicated, nice but the learning curve was high. The G5 looked nice, but it didn't give much value over the S50. The S50 was just right.

Here is a hand held picture with no flash.

All I did was auto Levels, liked the way it looked and kept it that way.

edited because I could.

5. I do, I just wanted it full size 1024X768 so you can see the
quality of the image in low light.

6. I do, I didn't need to do anything other than auto levels, and
resize to 1024 X 768. I could work on it some more, but it came out pretty good from the camera.

It's not bad for $399.

9. the technology is moving pretty fast, like computers were
in the late 90's. The damn thing was obsolete by the time you got the box open.

My 2.1 mega pixel camera cost more than that new one.
